Type Jaguar 4.2
1965 Jaguar fixed head coupe, last of the beautiful series “1” body styles and the first year for the powerful 4.2 liter six cylinder, overhead cam engine. This is a driver’s car with many upgrades to improve power, safety and reliability. The complete drivetrain has been rebuilt by Terry’s Jaguar. Performance upgrades include, LeMans prepped with complete blueprint and balance of assembly, Isky cams, Mallory ignition, and full stainless big bore headers and exhaust system. Griffin radiator with improved cooling and electric fans. Lightweight flywheel and heavy duty clutch, followed by a complete Terry’s Jaguar Tremec 5 speed conversion. The suspension has Koni shocks and Wilwood break system. To finish off the car we had Dayton wire wheel Co. build a set off custom wire wheels to accommodate larger tires for better handling. This car was completely rebuilt, finished in tuxedo black with bright red leather to meet the most discriminating taste.
